Become an ASPCA Placement Partner
ASPCA Placement Partners are a nationwide network of shelters and rescue groups that match animals rescued from cruelty or disaster situations with loving families. Our behavior and medical professionals carefully assess each animal’s temperament, behavior, and medical needs and provide advanced treatment for animals with medical or behavioral conditions. Once these animals are ready, the Centralized Placement team places them with a Partner organization who can help them find new homes.
“As one of the largest shelters in the Southeast, The Greenville Humane Society is proud to partner with the ASPCA’s Centralized Placement team in an effort to support their incredible work. Their program offers second chances to so many wonderful animals and we’re thrilled to be in their network of shelter partners. Their attention to detail, coordination of transport and support after arrival has been beneficial in matching animals to our organization and ensuring that they find their forever homes. Because of their commitment to each animal’s well-being, they provide detailed and pertinent information that allows our organization to properly care for and support each animal.”

Animal Selection Process
When sharing animal information with our Placement Partners, we strive to create profiles that are easy to review. Partners can scan through the highlighted medical and behavioral needs, then click the animal’s individual card for more details. Partners are given access to detailed animal records to ensure they are a good fit for your organization. We continuously welcome feedback from our partners on this process to ensure we are meeting your needs effectively.
Placement Partners receive detailed information on each animal’s history so you can select animals that are a good fit for your organization. ASPCA provides ongoing support after transport including promotional resources to help find foster or adoptive homes. Financial assistance to support costs associated with intake and care of placed animals may also be available.
Placement Partners play a crucial role in the lifesaving work to give cruelty and disaster victims a second chance in new homes where they can thrive. Please join us!
