GENERAL
Will my existing account and transcripts be automatically migrated to ASPCA Learn?
Yes, if: You have completed at least one course since January 1, 2020, or you created an account on or after July 1, 2023, and the name displayed on your account (this is different from your username), e.g. Jane Smith:
- Does not contain symbols or punctuation
- Is not comprised of numbers alone
No: Your account will not migrate if:
- You have no course completions from January 1, 2020, or later.
- Your account was created prior to July 1, 2023, and has no completions
Great! How do I access ASPCA Learn?
Migrated users simply create a new password.
Non-migrated users must create an account from scratch.
What is my username?
For both new users and those who are migrated from our existing platform, your username will be your email address.
Who can use ASPCA Learn?
Anyone interested in learning more about critical animal welfare topics can register for a free account with ASPCA Learn.
How do I log into ASPCA Learn?
Once launched, learners can create an ASPCA Learn account quickly and easily. You'll complete your profile and have immediate access to a training catalog.
If I already have an account in ASPCA Learn, how do I reset my password?
Click on the Forgot Username or Password? link on the ASPCA Learn login page, enter your username (which is your email address) and you’ll receive an email that will allow you to reset your password.
Where do I find my previous training completions?
Completed training is located under the Achievements menu and under the Completed tab in the My Learning Section of the homepage.
Incomplete content and trainings will not be migrated to ASPCA Learn.
How will an ASPCA Learn email show up in my work or personal email?
Emails from ASPCA Learn will come from the sender name ASPCA Learn (learn@aspca.org). Please whitelist this email address to avoid missing any important messages about your coursework. The subject line of the emails will vary, and emails will be triggered by various system actions, such as completing learning content.
Will I find all of ASPCA's course offerings on ASPCA Learn?
Most of our courses will appear on ASPCA Learn when we launch. Some will be released throughout 2024 as we update their content or improve the user experience.
Is there a mobile app available for download?
Yes, all mobile users must use the app to access ASPCA Learn! Look for the Litmos mobile app in the Apple App Store or Google Play. Litmos is the technology behind ASPCA Learn. Here is a step-by-step guide to login to the app once it's downloaded.
Can I sync my learning registrations to my Outlook or Google calendar?
Yes! ASPCA Learn makes integrating with your Outlook or Google easy! To set up the link between ASPCA Learn and your calendar, click on your initials in the upper right corner of the page and select My Profile & Settings. Scroll down to the External Calendar Sync for ILT section and enable either Office 365 Calendar for Outlook or Google Calendar.
What is the best or easiest way to navigate ASPCA Learn?
There are several easy ways to find content in ASPCA Learn:
- Content Library: allows you to search by keyword or subject of interest.
- My Training: shows all your training that is not started, in progress, overdue, or completed.
- Recommended for You: shows you learning recommendations based on your browsing or completion history.
How is my privacy protected?
ASPCA Learn on the Litmos platform has security measures to ensure that ASPCA’s data is safe. ASPCA Learn’s security restricts access to learner data. In addition, learning content is restricted based on the learner’s role and what is relevant for their training needs. For more information, please head to our Privacy Policy.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
How can I tell if a course is eligible for Continuing Education (CE) credit?
In the Content Library, search for the keyword “Continuing Education”, which will pull up all current CE-eligible content. At the end of the training, you will be directed to the appropriate licensure website to complete the process for obtaining CE credits.
Where can I see the completed courses for which I've received Continuing Education credit?
Completed training is found under the Achievements menu and under the Completed tab in the My Learning Section of the homepage. Any training that is currently CE-eligible will be indicated as such in the course description.
