DIY Cat Tower
Coulee Regional Humane Society encountered a great idea while visiting another shelter and gave it a try—and now they’re passing it on to you.
Who:
Coulee Regional Humane Society, Onalaska, WI
Did What:
To build their DIY cat tower, CRHS bolted together three plastic storage totes featuring cut-out “windows.” The tower is easy to clean, providing a place for play and a little privacy for the more reserved feline residents in your shelter.
Now You Try It
Ready to build your own inexpensive and aesthetically appealing tower? Ask your community to donate plastic storage totes. They get extra credit if they provide décor (i.e. bedding and toys) as well. If you need a handy volunteer to help with construction, you can recruit one on social media.
